Writing
I write about places people pass through without stopping, and what you find if you do.
Whether it’s a small town in New Mexico or somewhere farther away, I write about what’s actually there instead of what I expected to find.
Most of this work lives on New Mexico Travel Guy, where I’m currently on a questionable mission to visit every town in New Mexico and write a story about each one, with plans to wrap it up sometime before my early to mid-100s.
Where My Writing Lives
▪ New Mexico Travel Guy
Travel writing rooted in New Mexico, with occasional trips across the Southwest and beyond, focused on places, landscapes, wildlife, and what it’s actually like once you’re there. I also contributed a chapter to an upcoming Fodor’s travel guide to New Mexico.
▪ Profitable Conservation: Business Strategies That Boost Your Bottom Line, Protect Wildlife, and Conserve Biodiversity
A book about how conservation and business work together in practice, not just in theory.
